Heed the dao…

This is quite interesting, though not astounding.
So it seems that everybody, especially in academia, is overworked. There is a simple solution in the dao de jing, which is also given in the Bhagavad Gita, by the way: Do what you heed important, but do not strive for the fruits of your work.

In other words: don’t look to your peers or for recognition, but do your work with the only motivation a scientist should have: the search for truth. As truth is patient, you can also fit in enough time for rest and relaxation. :-)
