As you can see at first glance from the diversity of interests, it will not be possible for me to be a specialist in any one of them. My intention is rather a synthesis of knowledge as expressed in the book Consilience by E.O. Wilson.
Knowledge becomes available for decision and policy making - and individuals - by integration, and as the sciences become ever more specialized, it will be necessary for integration work to be done explicitly and exclusively.
